RAKHI THE ‘BOND OF LOVE’ was celebrated on 23rd August 2010 with lots of Fun and Masti. It is a festival of love and affection shared between a brother and a sister. The Rakhi Celebration starts with prayers, application of Tilaka (Vermillion Marks) on the forehead of brother and finally tying of the Rakhi by the sister.
On this day, students of pre-primary section came to school in colorful dresses. Girls tied rakhis on the hands of the boys and boys in turn gave them sweets. All of them celebrated the day with joy and cheer.
In another event, students of class Std. of 2nd to 5th made beautiful rakhis out of waste material. They decorated the rakhis with  beautiful colours. An exhibition of these rakhis was put up in the school.
