Golf Master
Kairav Shah of class 9 D participated in West Zone IGU Sun Junior & Feeder Tour 2012, and secured 3rd position in category of ‘B’ boys. This national level tournament was held in the month of September at Ahmedbad. He was awarded with a certificate and a trophy for his outstanding performance.
World Mental Health Day
On the occasion of ‘World Mental Health Day’ (10th October), in order to sensitize and spread awareness about mental health among the students, a team of around 20 students and teachers of Department of Psychology of city College was invited to USFC. They had an interactive session with students of class 9 and 10. The awareness among the children about the mental health was created by means of a lecture accompanied by charts. Students also asked questions regarding stress before exam, depression and so on. The team tried to answer their questions as far as possible.
An Udgamite glows abroad
Noopur M Shah of class 6 D spread her glow of talent in Turkey. She participated in “Kepez Peace Festival” organized in the month of August,2012 at Turkey. She was one among the group of ten girls. They performed a traditional Guajarati Garba dance at the peace function and were applauded and encouraged by one and all present there. She received a certificate and a trophy for her performance.
An article was also reflected in daily newspaper “Divya Bhaskar” about students from Gujarat leaving their mark abroad.

Neir Ricky Gandhi, who was a student of Class 12 (Sci) in 2011-2012 passed AISSCE in March 2012. He figures in the top 0.1% of the successful candidates in Chemistry. Congratulations!
Consistent Glory
Manann Sanjeev Agarwal of class 11 qualified for District Level in Discus throw during the Athletics Tournament Organized by Daskroi District Vyayam Prcharak Mandal conducted earlier this month.
He participated in District level on 28th September, 2012 and stood First and now has qualified for State Level, for which he is well prepared.
USFC is proud of Manann.
