Visit to Aviation Institute

Visit to Aviation Institute

An orientation program was organized by Ahmedabad Aviation and Aeronautics Ltd.(AAA) to create an awareness about the qualifications required and the courses available to join the  aviation industry. For this the students of Std XI (Science) were taken to the Institute of Aviation Technology and Engineering in batches on three different days.

The students were first shown a presentation which gave the details of the various courses offered in aviation, the facilities provided by the institute and the eligibility criteria for admission. They were then shown the small aircrafts owned by the institute and also given a chance to sit in the cockpit.  They were impressed to see the various labs where the future pilots are taught the various nuances of flying. Two lucky students also got a chance to fly along with their families from their Mehsana airfield. Overall it was an exhilarating experience for the students as they got a new option to consider for their career.

Best Out Of Waste

Best Out Of Waste

In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Best out of Waste’ competition was organised for students of class 6-12.

Mind-blowing, beyond expectation, fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by students. Right from waste ropes to broken bangles, plastic bangles, waste nails to broken door handles every waste material was used and the result was a hall full of projects made out of waste.

The jury was from United World Institute of Design. They were amazed to see the models working and non working made by children. It took a couple of hours for them to judge the best 3 out of more than 100 exhibits.

Following are the winners
