Aarya Shalin Almal, our student from VIII-H, participated in Young Chefs India Junior by IIHM. She cleared the preliminary rounds and entered the all-school Ahmedabad level along with more than 500 participants. Further, she got selected for the interschool and secured the 1st position in Ahmedabad.

Star Chef RanveerBrar announced the final results. The participants were judged upon the presentation, plating, patience in the kitchen, management as well as efforts, as it was a virtual cooking contest.

Similar recipe using the same ingredients, as mentioned by IIHM, had to be prepared by all participants in the finale. Aarya prepared the dishes Shaam-Savera and Mango Rose Jugalbandi.

IIHM will honour her with a cash prize for her achievement.

Our student, Heeva Shah from Grade I – B acquired 3rd position in National Level Online Drawing & Painting Competition organised by Genius kids Academy.

Mehaan Divya Shah from II-F took part in ISRO Cyberspace Competitions -ICC 2020 and stood among the merit list of Top 500 students at the National level, of the two lakh participants pan India.

The students of distinct classes had to work on different projects, that is Drawing(Classes I-III), Model Making/ Science Craft(Classes IV-VIII), Essay Writing(Classes IX-X), and Essay Writing/ Quiz(Classes XI-XII). The topic given to the students was Viewing the Earth from Space.

Mehaan made an artistic drawing and made it to the top list.

Congratulations on the marvelous achievement!

Total number of students qualified for the final level exam was 452,
of which these 12 students made it to the list of National Toppers,
while 22 students were among the top scorers in City, as well as State.
Though the exams got conducted online due to the crisis, which was not how it got conventionally performed, the students did remarkably well.

Our students Vihaan Joshi, Maher Shah and Akansh Panchal from Grade I-B, II-D and VI-D respectively won first prize in the Lego Contest by Makers Loft.
The Parent-Child Contest was conducted mainly to honor Father’s Day, where the father-child duo had to create an “Iconic Building”.
Vihaan, along with his father participated in the 4-6 years age-group category and made ‘The Happy Monument’, winning the Most Creative Lego; whereas our brick Master Mehar, with his father won under the 7-9 years category. Akansh and his father built a ‘Technology Experience Centre’ and won under the Lego Ninja Category in the age group of 10-13 years.

Our student Shanaya Shah from I -D secured FIRST RANK in the International Online Drawing Competition held by Aneta career Education!

The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) organized the Young Chef Competition for the various schools of Ahmedabad. The competition was held in the month of April 2019, where Students of Middle Section, Udgam School Qualified for the final round. Udgam School is proud of them and wish them well for future achievements.

Riva Raval of class 7 – E has won Bronze Medal and certificate in Kumite – Senior Brown at 28th SKDI District level Karate Tournament organized by Shito Ryu Karate Do India.

Shreena Thakkar of class 8 – G has won the 1st prize in the event Balancing Beam and Floor Exercise at ARTISTIC Gymnastics organized by Narmada District Gymnastics Association. She was procured with certificates and medals.
