Session of Serenity

Practicing mindfulness, and aligning mind, body, and soul before starting the day of learning works wonders.

Students of grades 1, 2, and 3 participated in an invigorating “Serenity Session” by Vamos Yoga.

The instructors made sure to convey the importance of each Asana and why correct posture is required. Vamos tutors guided the students in understanding the benefits of Yoga, energizing their day with positivity.

Adding to the atmosphere of learning, our Vice Principal, Ms. Arathi Kellog instilled the values of practicing Yoga every day. She made it clear to the students that a well-maintained lifestyle improves both – physical as well as mental health.

We are elated to see young minds embracing a healthy lifestyle.

Udgam Run, the Family Marathon 2024: Unveiling a Culture of Fit Families in Ahmedabad

The dawn of Sunday, January 7th 2024 brought more than 2100 Ahmedabadis to Udgam Run, the Family Marathon. Mr. Manan Choksi, the Executive Director of Udgam School for Children had a vision to revolutionize “Family Time” and turn it into something thoughtful.

For its maiden season, Udgam Run saw families braving through winter chills and striving towards healthy decisions. We are bringing in a culture of positive change that motivates kids, parents, friends, and peers alike to spend quality time together – away from gadgets, with an agenda to make their bodies healthier.

Udgam Run, the Family Marathon aimed at fostering stronger emotional bonds, informed decisions towards fitness, and better choices when it comes to time management in terms of screen time and gadget dependence.

The Family Marathon consisted of 3km, 5km, and 10km race categories. Invigorating sessions of Zumba kept the energy levels at an all-time high throughout the morning.

We look forward to continuing the culture of family fitness through such events.
