My journey from the halls of Udgam School in Ahmedabad to becoming a global advocate for education and immigration is a testament to the values of resilience, curiosity, and service instilled in me during my formative years. As a student at Udgam until Grade 10, I learned early on that education is not merely a pursuit of knowledge but a tool to uplift communities—a principle that continues to guide my path. These principles have shaped my journey from Gujarat to California, Canada, and beyond, molding me into an entrepreneur, immigration expert, and advocate for education and diversity.
After Udgam, I relocated to California, completing high school grades 11 and 12 while earning a two-year IT diploma on a 100% merit-based scholarship, specializing in Web Programming, Database Management, and Networking. This technical foundation honed my problem-solving skills, which later became instrumental in my legal career. While my academic roots were in technology, my passion for justice led me to Canada, where I pursued immigration and legal services.
Today, I am a Legal Counsel and founder of Migration Bureau Canada (MBC), a firm dedicated to guiding individuals and businesses through Canada’s immigration landscape. Over 18 years, my work has facilitated job creation, foreign investment, and socioeconomic growth, aligning with Canada’s vision of diversity. Partnering with institutions nationwide, MBC supports international students, reflecting my commitment to education as a bridge between cultures.
My accolades include recognition from the Mayor of Valemount, British Columbia, for driving community development through foreign investment. I have assisted countless families in navigating complex immigration laws, ensuring access to opportunities for a better future. My journey spans high-profile legal cases, strategic advisory roles, and empowering clients through legal proceedings.
A cornerstone of my advocacy is my decade-long collaboration with The Times of India, where I provide expert insights on Canadian immigration trends. My 2021 analysis of Prime Minister Trudeau’s mandate letter reached millions globally, offering clarity to aspiring immigrants. Additionally, I provide pro-bono legal services to vulnerable individuals and host free webinars for international students at various institutions in Canada, embodying Udgam’s ethos of giving back.
As an entrepreneur, I co-founded Smart Portables, an eco-friendly venture offering customizable housing solutions that merge sustainability with innovation. Expanding my horizons, I have envisioned ChaiandCabins.com, off-grid hospitality venture in Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains in USA, channeling my passion for innovation into creating unique traveler experiences. These endeavors reflect my belief in vision, perseverance, and adaptability—values instilled at Udgam.
Despite diverse career paths—from IT and law to entrepreneurship—my commitment to learning remains unwavering. Udgam’s foundation empowered me to embrace challenges, think critically, and push boundaries. As a father of two, I strive to embody resilience and master the equilibrium of family, career, and service—pursuing ambition hand-in-hand with compassion, values deeply ingrained through my Udgam education.
To Udgam’s students: Embrace every challenge as an opportunity. My journey—from Ahmedabad to advising global stakeholders—was shaped by curiosity and the belief that education transforms lives. As you navigate global and professional landscapes, hold Udgam’s ideals as your moral beacon.
Thank you, Udgam School, for nurturing the seeds of perseverance and purpose that define my journey.
