Vaidehi Shah of class 7 D participated in Swimming competition organized by JITO Games 2012 held at Ahmedabad and managed to bag 2 trophies and certificates for her exclusive performance. She stood on 1st position in 50 mt. Breast Stroke and 2nd in 50 mt. Free Style.

Young Golf Champ
Yashil Shah of class 7 C is a renowned name in the Golf field. He participated in Golf Championship organized by JITO Games 2012 held at Ahmedbad . He has 4 trophies and certificates on his side. He stood 1st in three categories of gold namely: Longest Drive, Straightest Drive and Short Game Challenge (Chipping and Pitching). He also was awarded with a trophy and certificate for being on the second position in Putting Challenge. Congratulations to Yashil!
Garba Expert
Raj Shah of class 7-C has a passion for Garba. He loves to dance and move on the tunes of traditional Guajarati music during Navratri. Raj managed to bag many prizes this year. He performed at different venues this Navratri and bagged cash Rs. 3500/- approximately and gift vouchers worth Rs. 15000/-. He spread his glow of dance at all important venues of Ahmedabad like Sports Club, Karnavati Club, Rajpath Club YMCA Club.
Spreading Awareness
The main aim of nukkkad nataks is to spread awareness among public, this was done by students of USFC. The nataks travelled to two Schools and a Shopping Mall in the span of two days. The students created awareness about RTI, Consumer Awareness and Educate Girl Child. Not only was the message passed successfully and applauded and appreciated by all but our students also were exposed to a totally new experience of presenting their ideas before others.
Chess Master
Hitika Agarwal of class 5-E participated in Inter School Chess Tournament organized by LML School on 28th October, 2012 and bagged third position in group B. She was awarded with a certificate.
Rangoli Making
Ahead of the auspicious festival of Diwali, students of class 1 and 2 of USFC were involved in the activity of Rangoli making. Children enjoyed using rangoli colours, rice, flowers, etc to give special effects to their rangolis. Craft teachers happily put their hand at work and children merrily gave expert vibrant touch to the rangolis. Joy, fun, enjoyment, sincerity, all feelings were visible in the finished rangolis. The whole activity was fun filled and festive mood kicked off.

Chess Champ
Mihir Shah of class V participated in Inter School Chess Tournament organized by LML School on 28th October,2012 and bagged the first position in group B. he was awarded with a trophy and certificate for his exceptional performance.
Aquatic Champ
Dheer Mehta of SR.KG- F participated in Inter Club Swimming Competition held at “The Ahmedabad Military and Rifle Training Association” and stood first in the event of one length Free style in the age group 4-5 years. He was awarded with a certificate and a gold medal for his achievement.
‘Traffic Awareness’
On Friday 2nd Nov. 2012, students of Std. IX and X were given a presentation on ‘Traffic Awareness’. The presentation consisted of PPT and video on the rules and regulations to be followed while driving and also what happens when one does not follow them. The presentation brought to light the dangers of rash driving and erratic parking in crowded areas. An important and necessary lesson was taught to students in an interesting manner.
